BACOLOD City – Five sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from a man accused of illegal possession of firearm in Barangay Tuyom, Cauayan, Negros Occidental.
The 20-year-old Warran Morales was arrested and detained in the municipal police station lockup facility on Wednesday.
Officers from the Cauayan police station served Morales with an arrest warrant in relation to a case he faces for alleged violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
Aside from the suspected drugs, the arresting officers also recovered an improvised tooter from Morales, a resident of Barangay Elihan, Cauayan.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 200, were also filed against him./PN
