BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu worth P102,000 was seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Banago.
Gicelle Pilaro and Jerome Altarios – both 22 years old – yielded the prohibited substance weighing about 15 grams, a police report showed.
Operatives of the Bacolod City Police Office’s City Drug Enforcement Unit staged the entrapment around 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 24. The operation also led to the confiscation of P500 marked money and drug paraphernalia.
Detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 3, the suspects face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
