BACOLOD City – Personnel of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Dumaguete City Police Special Operation Group arrested a woman in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Calindangan, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
The 25-year-old resident Mary Ann “Ana” Pines was caught after selling shabu to a poseur-buyer for P7,000 on Jan. 5, a PDEA spot report showed.
Recovered from Pines were 10 sachets of shabu weighing 51 kilograms valued at some P357, 000, according to PDEA agent Jason Cabatana.
Pines was detained at the Dumaguete City police station lockup facility and facing charges for violation of sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Durgs Act of 2002./PN
