BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu valued at around P50,000 was seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 2.
Residents Janice Meniao and Jonel Mayang yielded the suspected illegal drugs, police said.
Meniao and Mayang were caught after they allegedly sold shabu to an undercover officer on Sept. 10.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 2.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against Meniao and Mayang./PN
