BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu valued at around P75,000 was recovered in a drug buy-bust operation in Sitio Beranio, Barangay Lantad, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
The suspected illegal drugs weighing about 5 grams contained in 10 plastic sachets were confiscated from the 46-year-old Roland Constantino, a police report showed.
Constantino, a resident of Lantad, was arrested after he sold suspected shabu to an undercover police officer for P300 on Kalye Onse around 3:40 p.m. on Tuesday.
Aside from the suspected shabu, police also confiscated from Constantino a cellphone, drug paraphernalia and P4,500 cash believed to be proceeds from illegal drug transactions.
Constantino was detained in the lockup cell of the Silay City police station.
He was facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
