BACOLOD City – A 31-year-old man was injured in a shooting incident in Barangay Villamonte, a police report showed.
Resident Guylee Togores sustained a gunshot wound on the neck, the report added.
Togores was brought to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital for treatment.
Police only identified the suspect as a certain “Dennis,” a resident of Barangay Estefania.
According to the police, Dennis shot Togores using an improvised gun at a store around 11:30 p.m. on July 7, hitting the latter on the neck.
The motive in the shooting was not immediately established.
Police have yet to arrest Dennis, who fled after the incident./PN
