“It started as a home-based food business in 2018 and in 2021 I was able to develop a Lechon belly recipe. Unlike another Lechon belly that is rolled, mine is in a slab,” according to Joane Villareal, shop owner.
According to her, it takes 3.5 hours to cook the Lechon belly slab to perfection but it’s all worth it.
