ILOILO City – Unidentified thieves ransacked a shop on General Luna Street, Barangay Poblacion, Nabas, Aklan.

The wife of the 29-year-old Rey Sarceno discovered the burglary, a police report showed.

Sarceno’s wife, who was unnamed in the report, found at around 7 a.m. on Feb. 2 that their shop’s padlock had been forcibly opened.

Some P6,360 worth of items have gone missing, too.

Investigators suspected that the culprits barged into the shop at around 11:30 p.m. on Feb. 1.
