ILOILO City – A resident of Badiangan, Iloilo was arrested for alleged shoplifting.
Blezl Ann Labanero Canonero failed to show receipt for the grocery items contained in her brown shoulder bag, police said.
Jay Capilastique, a selling assistant at the supermarket of a big mall in Mandurriao district, and security guard Marites Tindoc believed Canonero did not pay for the items.
They placed her under citizen arrest around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, police said.
It was not immediately clear what the items in Canonero’s bag were.
