SIBALOM, Antique – A female fish vendor was shot a few meters away from her house on Fenete Street, Barangay District 3 here.
The 30-year-old Renalyn Malagad was standing on the roadside when attacked on Oct. 9 at around 8:10 p.m.
Witnesses said the gunman was in a blue car.
Malagad was hit on the head and neck. She died while being rushed to the Ramon Maza Memorial District Hospital.
The gunman in the blue car proceeded toward the southern area of Sibalom taking the Barangay Egaña road, according to witnesses.
The Sibalom police launched a hot pursuit operation.
As this was being written, no suspect had been named.
