ANTIQUE – A resident of Barangay Esperanza 2, Sibalom was stabbed to death.
Ernie Bernaldez, 47, was killed in the town’s Barangay District III on Sunday night, May 21.
The suspect was Adrian Arbado, according to Police Captain Harry Jhun Amar of the Sibalom Municipal Police Station (MPS).
The victim was outside a KTV Bar when the suspect, who was under the influence of alcohol, approached him and talked to him.
But when the victim left to urinate, Arbado suddenly attacked Bernaldez, said Amar.
The victim was declared “dead on arrival” at the Ramon Maza Sr. Memorial District Hospital.
The Sibalom MPS is conducting a hot pursuit operation against the suspect./PN
