ANTIQUE – A drug suspect fell in a buy-bust operation in Barangay District 1, Sibalom around 9:30 a.m. yesterday, Sept. 14.
The 39-year-old Jocel Opao “Badyang” Grafane of Sibalom town’s Barangay Ilabas was collared by joint forces of the Sibalom Municipal Police Station (MPS) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Antique.
Major Renato Monreal II, chief of Sibalom MPS, said the suspect sold to a police poseur buyer a sachet of suspected shabu for P1,000.
A total of five grams valued at P34,000 were recovered.
Monreal said Grafane served jail time in 2021 for frustrated murder but was able to post bail.
The suspect is currently in the custody of the Sibalom MPS./PN
