BACOLOD City – A woman and his younger brother were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Miranda, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental.
Police Captain Cancel Lumandaz, Pontevedra police chief, identified them as Rebecca Riman, 55, and Kenneth Riman, 19 – both residents of the village.
An undercover officer initially bought from the suspects a sachet of suspected shabu for P500.
Three more sachets of the prohibited substance were confiscated during their apprehension around 9:20 p.m. on Dec. 12.
The Rimans were detained in the lockup cell of the municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
