SAN REMIGIO, Antique – Two brothers were stabbed and hacked to death on Sunday evening, Jan. 24. in Barangay Carawisan 1 here.
They were on their way home from a drinking binge when Legaspi siblings Nido, 44, and Christian, 39, were attacked at around 11 p.m.
Police named three suspects – Mike Bello, 31; Crisni John Rufino, 25; and Carl Josef Rufino, 21, all residents of Barangay Carawisan 1 also. As this was being written, their whereabouts were unknown.
The Legaspi brothers sustained multiple stab and hack wounds. Their bodies were discovered early morning of Jan. 25.
Police believed the attack was triggered by old grudges./PN
