BACOLOD City – Two brothers allegedly hacked a neighbor to death in Barangay E. Lopez, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Lieutenant Guilmor Cuare, Silay City police chief, identified them as residents Ronald and Ronilo Panaguiton.
According to Cuare, the Panaguitons for no apparent reason attacked the homebound 37-year-old John Galagate using a 12-inch cane cutter around 9 p.m. on Jan. 9.
Galagate sustained fatal wounds and died on the spot.
The suspects, on the other hand, fled and remain at large as of this writing.
