Silay City drug sting nets P54,400 ‘shabu’

BACOLOD City – A suspected drug pusher was arrested in a sting operation on Severino Street in Barangay 2, Silay City, Negros Occidental.

The 32-year-old Jay-R Roa yielded the suspected illegal drugs weighing about eight grams

valued at around  P54,400, police said.

Roa – resident of Barangay Rizal, Silay City – was caught after he allegedly sold shabu to an undercover officer for P3,000 around 12:45 p.m. on Sept. 21.

The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Silay City police station. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
