BACOLOD City – Not only suspected drugs but ammunition was also recovered in a house in Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Joint personnel from the Silay City police station and the Regional Mobile Force Battalion raided the house of 41-year-old resident Raffy Gonzaga on Tuesday, a police report showed.
The operation led to the recovery of the suspected shabu valued at around P240,000 contained in 22 sachets, the report added.
Live bullets, an empty shell of a .45-caliber gun, a cellphone, and three coin purse were also recovered, police said.
The raid was conducted on the strength of a search warrant issued by Judge Ana Celeste Bernad of the Regional Trial Court Branch 61.
Silay City police head Superintendent Noel Polines said Gonzaga is an identified drug suspect.
Gonzaga was detained in the Silay City police station lockup facility./PN
