BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man for stabbing his neighbor in Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
He was 36-year-old resident Reymando Mayo Jr., a police report showed.
According to the police, Mayo stabbed his 34-year-old neighbor Jury Tagulabong around 9:15 p.m. on July 28.
Tagulabong sustained two stab wounds on the stomach, the report added.
He was brought to the Teresita Lopez Jalandoni Memorial Provincial Hospital in Silay City where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
It was not immediately established what caused the stabbing.
Mayo, meanwhile, was detained in the Silay City police station’s custodial facility./PN
