BACOLOD City – He allegedly sold shabu.
The 37-year-old Emmanuel Balogo was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay City, Negros Occidental, police said.
An undercover officer initially bought from Balogo a sachet of suspected illegal drugs for P3,500.
Eight more sachets of suspected shabu weighing about five grams valued at around P54,600 were confiscated during Balogo’s arrest around 12:45 p.m. on Oct. 1, a police report stated.
Policemen were also able impound the suspect’s motorcycle.
Detained in the lockup cell of the Silay City police station, Balogo faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
