BACOLOD City – Charged with rape, a man was arrested in Barangay Bagtic, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Silay City police station head Superintendent Noel Polines identified the man as the 27-year-old Rolly “Oley” Laxamana of Barangay E. Lopez, Silay City.
Laxamana was caught around 1 p.m. on Friday on the strength of an arrest warrant that Judge Ana Celeste Bernad of the Regional Trial Court Branch 69 in Silay City issued on Aug. 13.
Laxamana was detained at the Silay City police station lockup facility.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
