BACOLOD City – He was listed as the No. 1 most wanted person in the police station of Silay City, Negros Occidental.
The 19-year-old Elboy Laurista was nabbed in E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental on the strength of two arrest warrants around 11 a.m. on Saturday, a police report showed.
A resident of Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay City, Negros Occidental, Laurista faces robbery and theft charges.
Joint personnel from the E.B. Magalona and Silay City police stations staged his apprehension.
The suspect was detained in the lockup facility of the E.B. Magalona police station.
Judge Dyna Doll Chiongson-Trocio of the Regional Trial Court Branch 40 in Silay City recommended a P48,000 bail bond for him in relation to Criminal Case No. 11315-4 (robbery) he faces.
Judge Eunice Tan-Cuansing of the Municipal Trial Court also in Silay City, meanwhile, recommended a P24,000 bail bond for Laurista in relation to Criminal Case No. 29482-C (theft) he also faces./PN
