Silay’s No. 3 drug suspect arrested

MURDER SUSPECT. One of the most wanted persons in the country has been arrested in Barangay Magdungao, Passi City, Iloilo. The 39-year-old murder suspect Jhon Padernal of Barangay Alimono, Passi City was caught at around 2:50 p.m. on June 17, 2018 after 16 years of eluding policemen. He was taken to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group regional unit in Camp Delgado, Iloilo City.

BACOLOD City – He is listed as the No. 3 most wanted drug personality in Silay City, Negros Occidental’s police station.

The 43-year-old Levi Ganonoy was arrested around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay City, a police report showed.

Recovered from Ganonoy’s possession were five sachets of suspected shabu estimated to be worth P240,000, police said.

Aside from the suspected illegal drugs, police also confiscated the P500 marked money, P85 cash and drug paraphernalia from Ganonoy.

Ganonoy was detained at the Silay City police station lockup facility.

He was facing charges for violation of sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
