BACOLOD City – Village watchmen arrested a man complained for alarm and scandal in Barangay Maricalum, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
The 62-year-old resident Maximino Recaplaza Sr. will face charges for illegal possession of firearm and ammunition, a police report showed.
He was arrested around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday in his house, the report added.
Recovered from Recaplaza’s possession were two improvised 12-gauge shotgun, locally knows as sulpak, loaded with two fired cartridges and a live bullet of the same gun.
Recaplaza was turned over to the custody of the Sipalay City police station./PN
