BACOLOD City – He was already dead when he reached the hospital, a police report showed.
The 56-year-old Arcie Camingawan of Siquijor had struggled breathing while checked in MO2 Days Inn at Goldenfield Commercial Complex in the city around 11 p.m. on Friday, police said.
The 29-year-old Rowena Gina Cuaresma also of Siquijor – who was with Camingawan at the hotel – sought help from the hotel staff.
Camingawan was rushed to the Bacolod Adventist Medical Center where attending physician Dr. Renato Ong pronounced him “dead on arrival” at around 1 a.m. on Saturday.
It was not immediately clear what exactly caused Camingawan’s death.
