ILOILO City – A notorious snatching suspect was arrested in La Paz district around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28.
Alias “Rio”, a resident of Barangay Hipodromo, City Proper district, was detained at the La Paz police station.
According to La Paz police, an 18-year-old student riding a public utility jeepney was caught off guard when the suspect grabbed his cellular phone.
The suspect fled. Responding officers of the La Paz police station collared him in Barangay Magsaysay Village, La Paz.
The victim’s iPhone 6 was recovered./PN
