BACOLOD City — A soldier who had been absent without leave and two other men were arrested in separate anti-illegal drug operations here.
Operatives of the City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group arrested suspected drug pusher Noel Alob, 45, of Purok Masanag 1, Barangay 26.
Alob handed a sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer in his house.
The soldier Roldan Sol, 43, of Barangay 30 was in the house at the time. He was arrested, too.
Senior Inspector Jose Mulleta said Alob and Sol were allegedly trading illegal drugs together.
A tooter, a piece of suspected dried marijuana and a mobile phone were seized from them.
In another operation, 40-year-old trisikad driver Christopher Lo was arrested in Purok Star Apple 2, Barangay 27 here.
Police seized from him an elongated plastic sachet of suspected shabu, several drug paraphernalia and P530 cash believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sale.
The two operations were conducted on Sept. 20. All suspects were charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 on Monday./PN
