BACOLOD City – A rider died on the spot along the national road in Barangay Gargato, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental on Sunday, March 26.
Mike Ellouise Vallejo of Barangay Poblacion, San Enrique, Negros Occidental, crashed his motorcycle into a tree for allegedly speeding.
Vallejo was thrown around 20 meters from his crashed motorcycle.
The father claimed Vallejo was sober and was not into drinking, but admitted that the victim was into drag racing, said Captain Leonel Adolacion of the Hinigaran police.
The police also did not find a helmet at the scene of the incident./PN
