BACOLOD City – Four persons were caught allegedly engaged in a spider derby in Barangay Caliban, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
Recovered from them around 2:20 p.m. on Oct. 26 were 14 matchboxes containing spiders and several bamboo sticks, among others.
The suspects – Eric Anthony Suanico, 30, of Murcia; Ely Macalisang, 62, of San Enrique, Negros Occidental; and Antonio Oleta Jr., 46, and Felix Lachica, 34, both from this city – were detained at the Murcia police station./PN
