“Squid Game” actor Wi Ha-jun is coming to Manila.
A Filipino clothing brand announced on Monday, April 24, that the Korean star will have his fan meet in the Philippines this coming May.
“Official fan meet mechanics will be posted real soon,” the clothing brand announced.
Fans were quick to express their elation after Ha-jun’s fan meeting was announced.
“Nae-excite ako na kinikilig! Birth month ko pa talaga!” one fan said.
“May oppa na naman tayong makikita!” another fan wrote.
Ha-jun made his debut as an actor in 2012 in the short film “Peace in Them.”
He starred in various films after that including “Coin Locker Girl,” “Eclipse,” “The Chase,” “Girl Cops,” and “Midnight,” among others.
The actor also starred in various TV series throughout his career including “Goodbye Mr. Black,” “My Golden Life,” “Something in the Rain,” “Romance Is a Bonus Book,” and “18 Again,” among others.
In 2021, he catapulted to international fame after being part of the global hit Netflix series “Squid Game.” He played the role of a police officer named Hwang Jun-ho who stumbles upon a survival game. (PUSH)
