CATHERINE Parochial School (SCPS) continued its dominance in the secondary girls volleyball of the Iloilo Private Schools Educators Association (IPSEA) Sports Meet 2019 recently at the Iloilo Sports Complex.
The Leon, Iloilo-based SCPS captured its sixth consecutive championship in the secondary girls volleyball event after defeating Mary Immaculate Academy in the gold medal round.
The SCPS secondary girls team was led by team captain Krystl Lou Capilastique, Jean Pascua, Angelline Cabalo, Kyla Cabunoc, Marianne Grace Calapaan and Frianna Villaret.
Completing the squad were Johanna Canata, Dea Jane Canaya, Chazzie Aizhen Roxas, Michaela Cabalfin, Nicole Angela Calanda, Maria Jasmine Gaboc, and Frenshwa Altura.
The IPSEA Meet crown adds up to the list of championships won by SCPS secondary girls volleyball team recently aside from Leon Municipal Meet, Iloilo 2nd Congressional District Sports Association Meet and Leon December Open Invitational Volleyball Cup.
The IPSEA Sports Meet, which is on its sixth year, is an annual sporting event that was participated by the private elementary and secondary schools from outside and inside Iloilo City./PN
