ILOILO City – A 20-year-old man landed in a hospital after he got stabbed in Barangay Taytay, Igbaras, Iloilo.
Ramil Efondo of Barangay Alameda, Igbaras was recuperating at the West Visayas State University Medical Center in La Paz district. He sustained a stab wound on the stomach, a police report showed.
The suspect was identified as 19-year-old Shann Dave Tacaisan of Barangay Inaliwan, Igbaras, the report added.
According to police investigation, the incident happened around 11:51 p.m. on Dec. 28.
Tacaisan allegedly attack Efondo using a five-inch knife for no apparent reason.
The suspect was arrested and now detained in the lockup cell of the Igbaras police station, facing charges./PN
