ILOILO City – A 22-year-old man landed in a hospital after he got stabbed in Barangay Buhang, Jaro district.
Jhon Jaena – resident Barangay Caingin, La Paz district – was taken to West Visayas State University Medical Center on Sunday.
He had a stab wound on the back of his body, police said.
Edmar Albansis of Barangay Culasi, Ajuy, Iloilo was tagged suspect.
According to police investigation, Jaena was about to board on a tricycle when the suspect stabbed him. It was not immediately established what was the motive in the incident.
Officers of the Jaro police station have yet to arrest Albansis, who fled after the incident./PN
