BACOLOD City – A resident of Barangay Bacong, Bago City, Negros Occidental ended up in the hospital due to a stab wound on the chest.
The 47-year-old Regie Francisco was allegedly attacked by Gino Nazareno of Barangay La Granja, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
Police said Nazareno allegedly took revenge as the victim was thought to be responsible for the death of the suspect’s brother.
Around 9 p.m. on Sept. 2 in Barangay La Granja, Francisco was playing a card game in the wake of his friend’s wife when the suspect arrived, stabbed the victim and fled with the weapon.
