Stabbing hurts Silay local

BACOLOD City – A man was stabbed in Barangay E. Lopez, Silay City, Negros Occidental. 

The 45-year-old resident Alan Severino sustained stab wounds on the body, a police report showed.  

Police identified the suspect as resident Teddy Reynaldo Frayco.

Frayco allegedly stabbed Severino around 8 p.m. on Saturday.

Severino received treatment at the Teresita Lopez Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City.

Recovered from the crime scene were a bladed weapon and a scabbard.

The motive in the incident was not immediately established.

Officers of the Silay City police station conducted a manhunt operation against Frayco, who fled after the incident./PN
