BACOLOD City – An improvised firearm was recovered from a stabbing suspect inside a KTV bar in Barangay 4, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.
The 28-year-old resident Joshua Gayongala yielded a .38-caliber handgun loaded with a live bullet around 12:30 a.m. on Friday.
Gayongala was frisked after a 22-year-old man who refused to be named alerted officers at the Himamaylan City police station.
The injured man told the cops that Gayongala stabbed him on Thursday night.
Gayongala was arrested and detained at the Himamaylan City police station lockup facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
