BACOLOD City – In Barangay Mansilingan, a man was stabbed.
The 36-year-old resident Junard Denicolas sustained a stab wound on the body, a police report showed.
Police identified the suspect as 20-year-old resident Kent Jay Bigcas.
According to police investigators, Bigcas was drunk when he stabbed Denicolas using a bladed weapon around 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 4.
Denicolas was brought to the Bacolod Adventist Medical Center for treatment.
The motive in the incident was not immediately established.
Police officers, meanwhile, conducted a manhunt operation against Bigcas, who fled after the incident./PN
