AIMING to be a “leader in the diagnostic and health care industry of Iloilo by 2020,” Statlab Medical and Diagnostic Center has opened its newest branch at GT Town Center, Ungka, Pavia, Iloilo – boasting state-of-the-art facilities and positioning itself to grow with the developing provincial district.

Uy, one of the founders of Statlab, told Panay News, as the clinic opened its doors to the Ilonggo public on July 19. “Our goal is to be one of the best outpatient and diagnostic facilities in Western Visayas.”
Founded in 1996 by a group of practicing doctors, Statlab Medical and Diagnostic Center has come a long way from its humble beginnings, now a trusted name with four Iloilo branches in all – including its new Pavia venture. Dr. Uy highlights the strategic location of its latest branch, noting that they are poised to serve not just the nearby subdivisions and communities of Pavia, but also the greater Province of Iloilo.
“With our complete line of laboratory and diagnostic equipment that can offer accurate results fast, patients from Pavia and the neighboring municipalities won’t need to brave the traffic in the city, when they have us to cater to their healthcare service needs closer to their homes,” Dr. Uy explained.
Atty. Nicolas Lutero III, Director IV of the Health Facilities and Services Regulatory Bureau – Department of Health, who was the guest of honor during the opening program, congratulated Statlab and Dr. Uy for their new endeavor, lauding the passion for service of the facility and its founding doctors.
