AFTER almost four decades of serving the Ilonggos with innovative and trendsetting memorial services, St. Therese Chapels (STC) bids the public  goodbye. It is closing shop this March 12, 2022.

The announcement was formally made yesterday in an intimate gathering with the employees, partners and suppliers of STC headed by its general manager, Jaresh Ng.

Mr. Jaresh Ng, general manager and the man behind all creative innovations of STC delivers his heartfelt thanks and message to the suppliers, partners and staff of STC.

The sad news came to the management via a formal notice from the new lot owner last week requesting STC to vacate the place the soonest.

“STC has grown to be one of the best mortuaries in Iloilo. Unfortunately, we have to end our service abruptly. STC has been renting the land on which we operate. We were blindsided when we were informed that our competitor purchased the land we were renting. Consequently, STC was asked to vacate the premises,” according to Mr. Jose Alberto T. Alba, president of Prudentialife Group of Companies.

Alba humbly accepted the challenge and sent his heartfelt thanks to their suppliers for 36 years of serving the Ilonggos with highly satisfying customer service.

“We humbly accept this and we are thankful to the Lord for the many years of service extended by STC. We thank our suppliers who were with us all these years. We are not closing our doors but will look for opportunities that the Lord will give us. Who knows? Maybe we can still do business in the future,” Alba added.

For his part, STC OIC Atty. Marlon Dilla confirmed that another owner purchased the land where the memorial chapel is built.

“On behalf of our management and all our employees, we thank you for all your support that brought success to St. Therese Chapels for the last 36 years. We look forward to your same support in our future endeavors. Thank you, and keep safe.” Dilla said./PN
