ILOILO City – Police have staged a sting operation that led to the arrest of a drug pushing suspect.
A police report identified Darius Bermejo as a “street-level” suspected drug peddler.
Bermejo, a 38-year-old resident of Barangay Banica, Roxas City, sold a sachet of shabu to undercover officers for P500.
Three more sachets of shabu with an estimated street value of P1,500 were recovered from him, said the police.
Police conducted the buy-bust operation at 5:58 p.m. Friday in Barangay Banica.
Bermejo was detained at the custodial facility of the Roxas City police station./PN
