GUIMARAS – A stray bullet hit a three-year-old boy after a man fired his gun multiple times in Barangay Supang, Buenavista town.
Alias “Nonoy” sustained a wound on his right butt. He was brought to Dr. Catalino Gallego Nava Provincial Hospital in Jordan.
Buenavista police said a sport utility vehicle stopped in front of a laundry shop where the mother of the victim was working, at around 4:40 p.m. on Friday, August 23.
The unidentified driver suddenly fired his gun, accidentally hitting the victim who was sitting in front of the laundry shop.
The suspect immediately fled after the incident.
Police recovered four deformed slugs of an unidentified gun inside the laundry shop.
The mother has sought the help of the Buenavista police to give justice for her son.
Police said they already identified the suspect but did not disclose any further details pending the filing of the case./PN
