ILOILO City – A fisherman was arrested in Barangay Bay-ang, Ajuy, Iloilo.
Roger Mahinay, 42, is facing a string of sexual abuse charges – attempted rape, three counts of rape and acts of lasciviousness, a police report showed.
Armed with a warrant of arrest, policemen of Ajuy caught him around 3 p.m. on April 30.
Judge Jose Mauricio Gomez of the Regional Trial Court Branch 71 in Barotac Viejo, Iloilo ordered Mahinay’s arrest.
The suspect was detained in the lockup facility of the Ajuy police station.
No bail bond (for rape) and P180,000 each (for attempted rape and acts of lasciviousness) were recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
