BACOLOD City – A Grade 9 student and a companion were arrested in Barangay Asia, Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental following a robbery around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5.
A 15-year-old boy and 20-year-old Reynald Guanzon of the town’s Barangay Bacuyangan were found by some locals allegedly destroying the Pesonet Wi-Fi box of Albert Gallarda.
Coins totaling P952 were recovered from Guanzon.
Two kitchen knives, a screwdriver, and an ice pick were also recovered.
Guanzon was detained in the police station while the minor was turned over to the town’s Social Welfare and Development Office./PN
