BACOLOD City – A 65-year-old man was found dead in a sugarcane field in Barangay Tinampaan, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
Jesus Bantiling may have had a cardiac arrest, said Superintendent Edel Jose Manzano, Cadiz City police head.
His daughter, 34-year-old Maricel Bantiling-Pajarde, found him while about to wait for a vehicle on the way to the market around 5 a.m. on Sunday.
Bantiling was last seen having a drinking spree with friends and relatives, police said. He had no wounds when found./PN
