Sum-ag ‘pusher’ nabbed

BACOLOD City – Officers from Police Station 9 arrested a man who allegedly sells illegal drugs in Barangay Sum-ag.

The 34-year-old resident Ronilo Hofileña was caught on Wednesday after he sold suspected shabu to an undercover officer, a police report showed.

Four sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from him, police said.

Hofileña was detained in the lockup facility of Police Station 9, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Bacolod City police head Senior Superintendent Francisco Ebreo commended Police Station 9 for a “job well done.”

Ebreo has reminded all police stations in the city to intensify their campaign against illegal drugs and other crimes amid the ongoing MassKara Festival and the upcoming undas break./PN
