MANILA – F2 Logistics Cargo Movers ended the elimination round of the 2019 Philippine Superliga Grand Prix on a winning note. It swept Cignal HD Spikers, 25-19, 25-20, 26-24 at the San Juan Arena.

The Cargo Movers, however, did not allow the match to be dragged to a fourth set. Perez nailed back-to-back spikes for a 25-24 lead before Galang delivered the game-winning ace.
“Mahirap kasi ‘yung manggagaling ka sa talo going to quarterfinals,” Cargo Movers coach Ramil De Jesus said. “Sabi ko sa kanila mas maganda kung kumuha tayo ng kumpiyansa para lahat ng ginagawa namin sa training mailabas natin sa game.”
Artemeva top-scored with 19 points while Erica Wilson and Rachel Anne Daquis added 13 and 12 markers, respectively, for the HD Spikers, which finished at fourth place with 7-7 slate and will battle United Volleyball Club in the quarterfinals.
