BACOLOD City – Police arrested a drug suspect in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Miranda, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental.
Five sachets of suspected illegal drugs weighing about 6 grams valued at around P60,000 were confiscated from 35-year-old Edison Paguntalan, 35 of Barangay 3, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental, police said.
Paguntalan was nabbed after he allegedly sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P500 on Thursday.
Aside from suspected illegal drugs, a cellphone and other paraphernalia were seized.
Paguntalan was detained in the Pontevedra police station’s custodial facility, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
