ILOILO City – Eight sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from a suspect in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion, San Enrique, Iloilo.
Police identified the suspect as 44-year-old Rey Palao of Negros Occidental.
Palao was caught after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P900, a police report showed.
The suspect was arrested around 1:30 p.m. on June 22, it added.
Palao was detained in the municipal police station’s custodial facility, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
