BACOLOD City – Police arrested a drug suspect in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Enclaro, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental.
The 28-year-old resident Melvin Estoquia yielded three sachets of suspected shabu, police said.
He was nabbed after he allegedly sold illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P300 around 3 a.m. on May 13.
Aside from suspected shabu, a cellphone and P210 cash were also seized.
Estoquia was detained in the Binalbagan police station’s custodial facility, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
