BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man in a drug sting in Barangay General Luna, Toboso, Negros Occidental.
Five sachets of suspected shabu were seized from 27-year-old resident Michael Bryan Gantes, a police report showed.
Gantes was nabbed after he sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P500 around 3:40 p.m. on Aug. 21, it added.
Aside from suspected shabu, P200 cash was also recovered from the suspect, police said. His motorcycle was impounded, too.
Gantes was detained in the custodial facility of the Toboso municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
