ILOILO – A senior citizen was arrested yesterday in Barangay Balibagan, Igbaras, Iloilo.
According to the Igbaras police, 65-year-old Rogelio Eaguiran was soliciting bets for the illegal numbers game “bookies”.
The suspect was taken to the municipal police station at around 1:30 p.m.
Cops recovered P360 cash and gambling paraphernalia.
A charge for violation of Republic Act 9287 would be filed against Eaguiran, police said./PN
